Gridiron Beef sources premium Midwest beef and works directly with our Iowa processing operation.
How is my order shipped?+
Orders are packed for frozen delivery using insulated packaging and dry ice. Shipping options and costs are shown during checkout.
How long will my beef stay frozen?+
Our packaging is designed to protect the product throughout its scheduled delivery window. Detailed handling instructions are included with every order.
What comes in a Gridiron Beef box?+
Each box lists the estimated cuts, quantities and approximate weight before you order, so you know exactly what you're getting.
Do you sell larger quantities of beef?+
Yes. In addition to curated boxes, Gridiron Beef offers larger beef-share and bulk purchasing options.
Can I pick up my order locally?+
Yes — we offer free local pickup at our Camanche, IA plant (1902 7th Ave) and at Rustic Cuts Butcher Shop in Council Bluffs, IA. Just choose pickup at checkout.
What grade is Chuckie's beef?+
Premium Midwest cattle, grass-fed and grain-finished, typically grading approximately 85% USDA Prime or Choice.
How are Gridiron Beef premium steaks cut?+
All of our steaks are hand-cut by seasoned butchers and average around 3/4 inch.
How much freezer space will I need?+
A 1/8 share needs about 2.5–3.5 cubic feet and a 1/4 share about 5.5–8 cubic feet. Individual boxes fit easily in a standard freezer.
What payment methods do you accept?+

Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

Due to the highly perishable nature of our premium beef, we cannot accept physical returns of products once they have been shipped. We are committed to accurate pricing, delivery confirmation, and ensuring your order arrives safely on dry ice.

Order Issues & Refunds: If you experience shipping, delivery, or pricing issues, or if your product arrives compromised, please contact us at coach@gridironbeef.com within 24 hours of delivery. We will review your claim and promptly issue a full or partial refund, or store credit, where applicable.

Recurring Billing: For any subscription or recurring box orders, you will receive an email notice prior to each recurring transaction. You may cancel your subscription at any time before the billing date without penalty.

Freezer Size Guide

1/8 Cattle (~64 lbs Boxed)

Fits in a standard home refrigerator-freezer with room to spare, or a compact standalone unit. Requires roughly 2.5 to 3.5 cubic feet of space.

1/4 Cattle (~129 lbs Boxed)

Requires a small-to-medium standalone chest or upright freezer. Will take up approximately 5.5 to 8.0 cubic feet of space.

1/2 Cattle (~262.5 lbs Boxed)

Requires a dedicated medium-sized chest freezer. Expect to use roughly 7.0 to 10.0 cubic feet of space.

Whole Cattle (~525 lbs Boxed)

Requires a large, heavy-duty chest freezer. You will need a minimum of 14.0 to 21.0 cubic feet to comfortably store the entire yield.
