These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of gridironbeef.com (the "Site") and your purchase of products from American Quality Protein LLC, doing business as Gridiron Beef ("Gridiron Beef," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Delivery Policy, Refund & Return Policy, Payment & Security statement, and Promotion Terms, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to purchase from us. By ordering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you submit.
2. Products, Descriptions & Availability
We sell premium beef products, including boxed beef, bratwurst boxes, and bulk cattle shares. We strive to describe our products accurately, including approximate weights and cut breakdowns; actual contents and weights of hand-cut and custom-processed products may vary within stated ranges. Products are subject to availability, and we may limit quantities, modify, or discontinue products at any time.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are exclusive of shipping and applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. By submitting an order, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the total order amount, including product, shipping, and any applicable taxes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing is accurate; in the event of an obvious pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a refund.
4. Bulk Shares, Deposits & Pre-Orders
Bulk cattle shares and certain pre-order items require a deposit at the time of order to reserve your allocation, with the remaining balance charged based on final processed (hanging/yield) weight prior to shipping, as described on the applicable product page and in our Promotion Terms. Deposit and cancellation terms for these items are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Custom-processed orders require additional fulfillment time as stated at the point of sale.
5. Shipping, Delivery & Perishable Products
Our products are perishable and are shipped in temperature-controlled packaging. Shipping availability, methods, timing, and your responsibilities on delivery are described in our Delivery Policy. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and for promptly refrigerating or freezing your order upon arrival. We ship within the continental United States only.
6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Because our products are perishable, we cannot accept physical returns once an order has left our facility. Refunds, replacements, and cancellations are handled as described in our Refund & Return Policy, including the requirement to report any delivery or quality issue within the stated timeframe.
7. Subscriptions & Recurring Orders
If you enroll in a subscription or recurring order, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method according to the schedule presented at checkout. You will receive notice before each recurring charge and may cancel, pause, or modify your subscription before the applicable billing date as described in our Refund & Return Policy.
8. Promotions
Promotional offers, discount codes, and special pricing are subject to the terms stated in our Promotion Terms, including any expiration dates, eligibility conditions, and limits. Offers cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in any manner that could damage or impair the Site or the experience of other users.
10. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, product names, and images, are owned by or licensed to Gridiron Beef and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content or marks without our prior written permission.
11. Disclaimers
The Site and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. While we stand behind the quality of our products as described in our Refund & Return Policy, we make no warranties beyond those expressly stated or required by applicable law. Proper storage, handling, and cooking of perishable food products upon receipt are your responsibility.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gridiron Beef and its members, managers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or your purchase of products. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Iowa.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order governs that order. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
